About A/Prof Tom Sutherland

A/Prof Tom Sutherland is an abdominal and forensic radiologist who graduated from Monash University in 2002, completed his residency at the Alfred Hospital and undertook radiology training at St Vincent’s. He has been a staff specialist at St Vincent’s since 2010 and Director of Medical Imaging and St Vincent’s Private Radiology since 2022.

A/Prof Sutherland has authored over 80 peer review papers, multiple textbook chapters, and expert guidelines and is a life member and former Chair of the Abdominal Radiology Group of Australia and New Zealand. A/Prof Sutherland is a tireless advocate for evidence-based medicine and health equity.
