About Mareeka Bruns

Mareeka has worked in Nuclear Medicine since 1996. Mareeka completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations (Nuclear Medicine) at RMIT in 1995, and a Masters of Health Science (Medical Radiation Science) specialising in advanced Nuclear Medicine practice and diagnostic CT in 2008.

Mareeka was awarded the inaugural life membership of the Victorian Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologists (VSNMT) for her contribution to Nuclear Medicine in Victoria. Mareeka believes that everyone should have access to high quality healthcare, and strives to give every patient the highest standard of care possible. She prides herself on leading by example, and how she interacts with patients, their families and carers, and her colleagues.
