A new partnership arrangement between St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), will see the hospital provide crucial radiology and pathology services to our clients.
In return ASRC health staff will provide training and advisory services to St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne to support their work with asylum seekers.
Both organisations will work together to further develop innovative and effective solutions that will improve the quality of care and experiences of asylum seekers accessing health services.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed last month, formalises a long-standing collaboration between our two organisations.
The beautiful picture is by a Hazara asylum seeker, a patient of St Vincent's, who painted it to commemorate the MoU.

Pictured are CEO of St Vincent's Ben Fielding and the Manager of the ASRC’s Health Program Sheenagh McShane.
