Our Billing Policy You are here:HomeFor patientsOur Billing Policy In order to ensure St Vincent’s Private Radiology always utilises the latest technology and provides you with the best Radiologist expertise, an out of pocket expense or gap fee may be incurred by patients for their medical imaging. St Vincent’s Private Radiology recognises that many patients are unable to meet this expense and believe that all patients should have access to the best in healthcare. In response to this, St Vincent’s Private Radiology have a fee structure which ensures all patients have access to our services. St Vincent’s Private Radiology fee structure provides: Bulk Billing (No out of pocket expense) for all Pension, Healthcare Card and Full Time Tertiary student card holders.(*) Direct billing (No out of pocket expense) for OSHC Worldcare, AHM and Medibank OSHC international students. Low gap fees for all other patients FREE on-site parking for patients Hospital Inpatients (*) There are some procedures that are excluded from our bulk bill policy and attract an out of pocket charge. Our reception staff will clearly explain any charges at the time of booking. Our fees are kept to a minimal so everyone can afford quality imaging services. Hospital Inpatients If you require any services by St Vincent’s Private Radiology during a stay in hospital, you will receive a separate account from us. St Vincent’s Private Radiology is a separate entity to the Private Hospitals and therefore bills for its services separately. Your hospital will explain this prior to your admission. Your private health insurer may make a contribution towards your fees for radiological imaging, or possibly cover them in full if you hold a pension or health care card.
